So for a week and a half now I’ve swapped a couple of my normal skincare staples for these Human + Kind products, and thought I’d share my findings on them with you lovelies!
The more I get into using natural beauty products, the more my skin and hair seem to be thanking me for it. And I figure if they’re happy, I should probably just keep going and find more natural replacements for my usual routines. With that in mind, Human + Kind offer a great range of products that substitute manmade chemicals with natural plant extracts. But making the switch to natural remedies does not mean you have to compromise on the results, as I found out!
Wash Off Facial Cleanser – around £11.75
No word of a lie, this stuff is beaut – a lovely, light and fresh smelling cleanser. It comes with a free deep-cleansing face cloth too, which is machine washable so it lasts forever! Apply the cleanser to wet skin and massage in with the cloth to remove any dirt or dead skin. Then wash off and ta-dah! Soft, radiant, glowy complexion is revealed.
I did notice a slight change after the very first use, but it was after maybe the third or fourth that I could really tell the difference. My skin feels softer, smoother and has a real glow to it! Use morning and night for the best results (I tend to use a face wipe first to remove excess or stubborn makeup, to make sure the cleanser can really get to my skin). The blend of ingredients is genius, it includes moisturisers, anti-ageing ingredients, vitamins and essential fatty acids, as well as anti-inflammatory elements (perfect for calming acne, eczema or anything like that). There are five natural active ingredients in this beauty, including marigold oil, aloe vera and cocoa seed butter, for more info on these and their individual benefits click here –
The range is available for purchase from the website.
Hand + Elbow + Foot Cream – around £6.25
My favourite thing about this has got to be the smell. Don’t get me wrong, it works wonders too, but the scent is just divine! It’s a great handbag size too, so perfect for use on the go. I’ve got into a habit of applying this after I’ve washed my hands to make sure they don’t dry out. The cream itself is light and not greasy at all – it dries super fast, which I love because I tend to wear rings and there’s nothing worse than a sticky hand cream sliding all over your jewellery! What I’ve enjoyed most about trying out natural products is learning all the different ingredients, and how they work in partnership with your body to repair and protect it. And my skin has definitely felt the benefits of this new found knowledge!
There’s a whole list of natural lovelies packed in there, including avocado oil and shea butter, so check out the rest of the ingredients and their properties.
