One thing is for sure the strength in a woman’s beauty cannot be denied. The woman is by far one of the most captivating species you will ever come across and she comes in a variation of colours, sizes, shapes and walks of life. The female form is another example of God’s amazing creativity. In this modern society that has started to view women and some of their attributes in a perverse way; it has never been more important to remember who our Father is. As princesses of the Kingdom it is vital that we realign our morals and ideals to that of our King.
BE MODEST…
What we say is only one of the methods we use to communicate and express ourselves. What we do and the manner in which we present ourselves also speaks volumes. We can’t always control how we are received but our delivery is entirely in our hands. I once came across a saying – ‘dress how you wish to be addressed’ and I believe it to be true in many ways. Whether it is via social media or face-to-face we must all have an heir of modesty, humility and decorum; not just for our own self-respect but also for the consideration of those we may come in contact with. Keep yourself enveloped and wrapped in such a way that people instantly know you are precious cargo.
BE WISE…
The wonderful world of fashion is one of the most creative and expressive art forms. Unfortunately over time fashion has often deviated from being a platform that shares and celebrates an individuals’ unique mind and heart to becoming a showcase for the intimate parts of the carnal body. Fashion fads and trends are forever changing and are further encouraged with the support of celebrities and endorsement. This is where discernment, understanding and wisdom play a key role, not everything is permissible. Understand your personal features as a woman. What works, flatters and is considered as moderate on one woman may not be the same case for you. If this is something that you are unsure about find yourself a styling buddy who can help advise on what would suit and compliment your body shape that honours your heavenly Father.
BE AMAZING…
I’m not sure if someone has told you recently but I wanted to remind you of how amazing you are. How do I know that? Because Jesus made it His mission to fight until death for you, the love He has for you is overwhelming. A woman reflects a different facet of God, and as beautiful as your hips or lips may be I am referring to somewhere a little deeper – your heart and soul. Remind yourself, better yet, convince yourself via meditating on Father’s Word, of your inner beauty. We constantly need to renew our thinking and refuse to be conformed to the world’s definitions of beauty or what they deem as acceptable. It is His desire to see His daughters adorn themselves in a glorious veil of splendour.
And last but definitely not least….Be Beautiful
