FEATURE: Travelling Through Transitions

January 14th, 2014 / Stephane

This is for the beautiful lady that ventured into the darkest corners of her heart in search for the little girl who needed hope. For the warrior that is patching up the scars they received on the battlefield where they loved and lost. This is for the visionary who is wiping the sweat from their brow after moving the mountain that seemed to grow with every push. They feel alone and depleted but yet still believe that there is purpose in the midst of this. This is your wilderness; your period of transitioning and it is where God breaks you in order to equip you for that purpose driven position. Just like The Great I AM is holding steadfast to His word, He needs us to trust Him as being the only wise and loving God and not doubt what He has shown us in the light just because our circumstances seem dark and uncertain.

Company along the journey

Travelling Through Transitions…

He is the Alpha and Omega and it is against His nature to start something and not finish it; but He needs your cooperation. Between Egypt and the Promised Land, the Israelites had to venture through the wilderness and this place of nothingness may be familiar to some of you. I find it a bitter sweet place to be; because although I’m not quite where I would like to be, I have to smile at the fact that I’m no longer where I was. It is the place where the old passes away and the new is restored. Here your character will be refined and your obedience rewarded in due season. This is probably new territory for you because the place you are going, you have not been there before and some things can not accompany you along this transitioning process. He may have had to wrench some things out of your hand and whether He gives or takes away please remember that He is forever sovereign.

You are already qualified

Travelling Through Transitions…
As a child of the Living God you are already an heir to the Kingdom and all you have to do is receive by faith the blessings you have access to from being seated at the right hand of Jesus. A common misconception is that life is all about grinding, striving or missing out. This mentality is what has encouraged the modern day rat race and fuelled a generation of impatient people. We need to learn to rest in God’s perfect finished work. You are loved, you are worthy, you are whole and healed, you are walking in liberty and you are seen. Not because of the position that is prepared for you but because of whom you are in the Christ. The key to your destiny is your identity so until we start speaking what God sees we run the risk of fully missing out on our purpose to bring glory to God.

This seat is reserved

Travelling Through Transitions…

If God has ordained a position for you He will hold it until you come through your transition. Whether the promise is concerning a relationship, dream or vision it is important to keep that God given desire burning and anchored in hope. Passing between seasons is never an easy venture as we are often unsure of what to pack. This brave sojourn into mystery encourages us to adopt a royal mindset and search out those deeper revelations and that intimate relationship concealed in the heart of God. Hope will be restored, the scars will heal and your strength will be renewed. Just don’t let your faith fail you, but rather trust in who you stand. He is God and He changes not; so that same position of excellence awaits you at the end as it did in the beginning. Be encouraged, that seat is still being reserved for you!
