With it being Nov Natural Hair month here at Milk & Honey, it was only right we checked out some protective styles for natural hair. Clip in’s are very quickly becoming the in and new thing and we wanted in on all the fun.
With clip in’s being so versatile, whats not to love. You can have a variety of styles, and instantly change in your look, whilst protecting your natural hair. We headed out to LA’s leading hair store to check out some of our options.
His & Her Hair’ offer a vast range of hair supply products for all hair types. It is known for supplying diversity in textures, lengths & colours, so we were certainly in for a treat.
We ordered (2x) the Kinky Straight Clip ins. It comes complete with two layers sown together as 1 piece. It’s texture is 50% Italian Mink and a little more straighter look than their Kinky Straight Extension hair.
Hair width: Approx. 10″ wide
Hair length: 12″ – 14″
Ideal for those wanting to have instant thickness or longer hair extension without the high cost of professionals and the great thing is you can apply it at home or literally anywhere.
Retailing at just $79.99 a pack this is a certified investment. It doesn’t shed and the hair can also be straighten, blow dried as if it were all your own.
For the best results leave out the front of your natural hair that you want to cover the clip in’s, blow dry to flat iron that section out. The braid the rest of your hair away and clip on in.
For fullness I would suggest getting at least 3 packs if your hair length naturally isn’t close to the below image. However I only used one to add to the thickness of my natural hair.
