Now there is nothing quite like getting pampered, and certainly if it’s in style! We headed out to Reecey Roos Nail Salon in Camberwell to do just that.
By far Reecey Roos is the most stylishly-luxurious nail boutique I’ve ever been too! From the word go, you are blown away as you enter to a salon full of expressive graffiti art. From the quirky interior decor to the lavish nail art designs on display, it is certainly a salon that oozes creativity and originality in every sense of the word.

In the last two years nail art has become a new and fast growing trend in fashion. With nail salons expanding the perimeters of design and doing what we may have not even thought was conceivable when it comes to design. So I was excited to see the range of mock designs at Reecey Roos; everything from fruit inspired nails to your favourite cartoon characters.
With a vast range of designs, they also offer simple basic nail treatments if you’re not yet ready to explore your creative side just yet. So you can rest assured that you will be in the hands of trained nail technicians who can do a mean mani or pedi starting from just £15.
So first things first, I decided on a colour. The great thing about this system is the colours are not stuck in a pot! They are all swatted on a mock up nail swat, so you can see what they will come out like, right before your eyes. I choose a colour, design, accessories and BOOM! I was ready to go!
Here it is! The end product. We decided to work with a range of lines and explore a pattern called ‘Negative Space’ and add gold studs to create a tribal, aztec feel! To ensure the studs and nails lasted, these are Gel Nails. I absolutely love them and the complements are rolling in!
Overall my experience at Receey Roos was amazing! Especially as a creative I was like a kid in a nail candy shop with endless possibilities. A big thank you to my nail stylist, Krish for creating these with me and the amazing service and team spirit from the word go.
