We headed down to the the Adeela Crown Aesthetic Spa at the world renowned Dorsett Shepherds Bush to do just that.
Offering a vast range treatments, their services include relaxing Facials, Massages, Pamper packages alongside more advanced facial and body Aesthetic treatments such as Laser Hair Removal & Skin Rejuvenation.
It’s founder and Aesthetic Director started off her journey in the finance sector, however having grown up with very bad skin, scarring and facial hair she decided to get treatment to boost her confidence. Once completing laser treatment, it completely changed her life. She went back to the surgeon, learned the craft and Adeela brand has blossomed into what it is today. So it’s no surprise that the ethos of this spa is to offer a range of quality technical treatments.
From the moment you reach the 8th level (Pavilion Rooftop) you know you are in for a treat. The decor screams ‘get ready to indulge in style’ and the ambience is set for nothing but pure relaxation.
I was asked to head into their changing rooms and prepare for my first treatment. Complete with robes, slippers, towels, showers gels; I was extremely excited for what was to come.
Treatments are carried out in beautifully designed discreet and comfortable individual treatment rooms. I was set to have two treatments. First up was an 80 mins facial; known as the Crowning ‘Glow’-ry Facial, followed by a 60mins City Stress Buster Massage.
We started off with an in depth consultation about my skin and health all round. A deep review of the condition of my skin took place under a microscope and the treatment begun! I was offered a sample of some of Caudalie’s, Premier Cru The Elixir, that was also used during the treatment to help with the scaring on my face.
Premier Cru The Elixir lifts, firms and nourishes the skin. Caudalie’s three signature patents include resveratrol, viniferine, and polyphenols—plus five exceptional plant oils and is great for removing dark spots.
The Crown and glowi facial is set to add glow to your face which carries on for a few weeks. It consists of a diamond tip peel, which removes the top layer of skin and infuse vitamin c into the skin.
Instantly you feel a complete lift on your face. It’s almost as if all the wear and tear from everyday is removed and your skin has been infused with nutrients and oils to leaving your skin feeling fresh and recouped.
Next up was the City Stress Buster Massage. This is set to release stress and tension from your body and perfect for the Cosmopolitan woman who is always on the go.
Once this was over I was ushered to a suite overlooking the city where I was given a light snack of fresh fruit, tea and biscuits as well as the pictured goody bag which included a sample of the oil used during my treatment and an eye mask.
