French Soho bistro Blanchette is the perfect place to dine on a budget, offering a delicious sharing roast chicken menu every Sunday priced at just £9.50 per person. Served between 12pm and 5pm, the menu includes Roast ‘Goosnargh’ Chicken, tarragon and white wine jus with sarladaise potatoes and seasonal greens with the option of a whole or half chicken available. And if guests book ahead they receive a complimentary glass of wine on arrival. £20 leaves you money for another glass of wine, service and a bus home if you’re lucky. Big Easy’s lobster are Canadian hard shells from the icy waters of Nova Scotia. Choices include the StratosFAIRic martini, made with cherry tomatoes, French mustard, celery salt, cayenne pepper, oregano, lemon juice, basil and mint and coming in at under 100 calories.
