Good eyebrows are important. Granted, not quite on a world peace scale, but they should certainly not be overlooked. A well-groomed pair of eyebrows will frame your face beautifully and whether or not you choose to apply make-up—they will will elevate your look instantly.
Shavata Brow Studio specialises in the ‘fleekification’ (we hereby pronounce that this is a real word) of your eyebrows. As well as providing eyebrow threading from £17, they have also developed a great range of products that we would recommend for perfecting your brow game:
1. The Shavata Eyebrow Pencil (£9.50) provides two colours on each end: Dusk and Dawn. Dusk works well for those with darker hair and features and Dawn for those rocking lighter hair particularly. The pencil is soft and provides good coverage over the brow area. The pencil is especially useful for creating precise outlines for your eyebrows that you can fill in with the pencil, or…
2. …with the Shavata Brow Perfector (£21). This would be our pick for filling in your eyebrows as there is a choice of three creme shades that you can mix to create a shade that best matches your own eyebrow colour. This is the ideal product particularly if you need to fill in some gaps where your natural eyebrows may not venture. Be sure to use a small eyebrow brush to blend the product in well, so that your eyebrows don’t look too stark or over manufactured!
3. To finish the look, opt for the Shavata Arch Enhancer Pencil (£11.50), underneath your arch, to make it sing. The pencil is a peachy colour, so we would advise accentuating and lining your arch first with your natural shade of concealer, using a thin brush. Once you have blended this nicely, use the arch enhancer pencil (making sure that it’s sharp) to draw a very thin line close to the shape of your eyebrow. Then, using the same thin brush, blend in the pencil line well until it is a soft, subtle outline.
When in doubt, less is always more. A good set of eyebrows should be seen and not heard, because they’re shouting so loudly on your face. This is not what we want for you and this is not what you should want for yourself either. If you have any other top tips for the perfect brows, please leave your comments below!
