11th Februry 2011 is a night that will forever go down in history. As tweets flooded in and trending topics formulated, Facebook status updated within seconds and CNN confirming the death of legendary singer and actress Whitney Houston, it all seems like a dream.
Known as ‘The Voice’ just aged 48, Houston was reported to have been found at The Beverly Hilton Hotel, by R’n’B singer, Ray J. The cause of death has not yet been revealed.
With a major contribution to music Whitney Houston is known for classics such as ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’, ‘I Will Always Love You’ and ‘Saving All My Love for You’. Not forgetting her amazing acting talent and on screen performances in The Bodyguard alongside Kevin Costner and The Preachers Wife with Denzel Washington.
