With spring officially upon us, there have been a few products that have been making this busy working mummy a very happy bunny – along with the sunshine and lighter evenings, of course. Any gadget or brand that makes my life a little bit easier is a certified win; here are my top picks for this season:
One:
As an illustrator and designer by day, the Bamboo Folio has been a revelation. I often get ideas on the move (or whilst feeding) and subsequently jot down very rudimentary shapes wherever I can (usually on my iPhone and they’re usually not initially that great). What makes the Bamboo Folio useful is that it captures your paper sketches and rough ideas and instantly digitises them. I have now been able to play around with ideas and quickly transfer them from the pad to my laptop, with the power of Bluetooth and a seemingly magic pen! Where has this been all my life?
Two:
This tropical, fruity baby outfit from Blade & Rose has been my go-to outfit for my daughter of late. It’s fun, colourful and most importantly for me, it’s easy to whip off the leggings for those frequent nappy changes! I also love the POW! Leggings coupled with the grey hoodie (also Blade & Rose) for a more casual slay ensemble.
Three:
The combination of having recently had a baby, breastfeeding and falling so far off the “no chocolate or cake” wagon that I can no longer locate where or when I fell off – has meant that my fashion choices have veered towards the effortlessly-chic-and-hides-at-least-a-couple-of-sins lane. I have absolutely been loving the Boody Cami bodysuit and long sleeve top (which pairs particularly well with the Boody bra). Both of these tops are super easy to breastfeed in and honestly take me from meh to yeah in no time. I like to combine either tops with some high waisted jeans, boots and a bold lipstick for good measure. Boody uses 95% organic bamboo in all their clothing, which means every garment is stretchy and breathable and soft. I am also very excited about Boody’s new baby range and cannot wait to get my daughter rocking the shorts in summer!
